If you are not going on the Torry Army coach to watch Torry play their final game of the season at Burriana then consider going along to the Orihuela Costa FC game against Torrevieja CF. Orihuela Costa FC's ground is near the new La Zenia shopping centre. Torrevieja CF need to win to win the league and guarantee automatic promotion. If they don't they will have to go into the play-offs for promotion. Orihuela Costa FC are third in the league table and will want to win this one to finish their season on a high. Should be a passionate and high intensity game.

Last Sunday Torry played relegation threatened Ribarroja who occupied the 4th and final relegation spot going into the game and had to win to have any chance of survival. Ribarroja had a couple of regulars suspended including veteran forward Pomer who has scored a dozen vital goals for Ribarroja this season. They put out what looked a very young side. Torry secured their place in the Tercera next season the previous weekend, so with no pressure on them hopefully they could try and serve up some exciting football to extend their unbeaten run and bring to a close their home games on a high. Torry were without the injured Abel. Recent signing, keeper Pepitiu was absent with Manolo starting in goal for Torry.
The match was played at Torry’s spiritual home, the Vicente Garcia stadium.

TORRY'S OPPONENTS THIS WEEKEND |
Torry entertain RIBARROJA on Sunday at 6.00 pm on their return to the VICENTE GARCIA Football stadium for their final home game of the season. Ribarroja are in the mire in the 4th and final relegation spot but level on points with 5th bottom Gandia. They have won their last 2 games, away to Crevillente and home to high flyers Novelda after losing their previous 4 games. They are making a spirited effort to retain their 3rd Division status. They need to win on Sunday,
Torry have nobody suspended but I don't know the fitness situation. Torry have not lost for 6 games, winning 3 and drawing 3 so it is important that they extend their unbeaten record and finish their season on a high. I hope they field their strongest side and if some of the walking wounded are fit I would expect to see back-up players Sergio and Jose Manuel on the bench. New keeper Pepitiu will be anxious to keep another clean-sheet as he hasn't conceded yet in the 3 games he has played since joining Torry.
Its the last home game of the season and last week Torry secured their 3rd division status for another season so its time to celebrate. There will be:-
- music from Radio Torrevieja
- Ice Cream from a Mr Whippy van
- A giant Paella
- a cool beer from the bar
- a RAFFLE with 3 great prizes up for grabs
and the Torry Army "Player of the Season" presentation before the game
Try to be there and a bit earlier than usual.
