2 more of our best players CARRASCO and PRIOR have left the club and signed for La Hoya Lorca CF who play in the Murcian Tercera division and currently lie in second place chasin promotion. They were in my opinion our two best players and I wish them well particularly CARRASCO who is the best player to wear a Torry shirt for a good few seasons. PRIOR was a good professional who did an excellent job as the holding midfield player. It goes without saying that both will be sorely missed
Torry have now lost 4 of their best players and are left with 16 players who started the season.
Worringly, it has not been reported that they have brought in any replacements to see out the season and preserve their 3rd division status. They cannot rely on "local" kids from Torrevieja cos they aren't good enough on the evidence I have seen after watching Torrevieja CF and the kids teams play. They have to look outside of Torrevieja in the Alicante and north Murcia region and try and bring in some young talent with potential.

TORRYS OPPONENTS THIS WEEKEND |
On Sunday Torry are at home to Eldense - 5.00 pm kick-off. Eldense lie in 14th place in the table having won 6, drawn 7 and lost 11. in all games. Their away record is more or less equal to their home record. On their travels they have won 3, drawn 3 and lost 5, scoring 14 and conceding 17. They have been busy in the January transfer window having brought in a new striker from Almansa who played for relegated Villajoyosa last season finishing up with 18 goals. They have also brought in a goalkeeper and 2 central defenders from Alicane CF.
Torry have had players 4 of their best players moving out with no replacements so it should be a close encounter with the opposition in my book starting as favourites.
Please get down there to the Vicente Garcia on Sunday and get behind Torry. In these difficult times they need all the support they can get from "Joe Public".
